Casa Donato

Donato was incredibly helpful and really helped us the first night after our flight was delayed and we couldn't find parking! The flat is spectacular and the roof terrace is such a huge bonus. Location is great to explore Otsuni and to drive out to the coast.

Beautiful apartment, great location and very well stocked house. Every we needed! Rooftop was lovely as well. Had a great stay!

Donato was a perfect host. Very quick to respond with helpful information, instructions, restaurant suggestions and very convenient parking advice. Totally flexible when we advised him we would arrive much earlier than expected. The kitchen and fridge were stocked with yogurts, drinks, wine, snacks and supplies. Everything we needed was available. The spacious sundeck upstairs was great for lounging/outdoor dining etc. There was also a balcony on the main floor. The apartment's interiors were cool and modern with attention to original details. Two good size bathrooms made our 3 night stay very comfortable. The location was perfect for us - on a very small residential street surrounded by locals but within a few minute walk to Piazza della Liberta' which is filled with cafes, bars, gelaterias, etc. Highly recommend!

Stairs up to the apartment and up to the second bedroom & terrace were fine for us but might be tricky for elderly people.

The whole upstairs was terrible Too hot with air conditioner on too cold. The bed was the size for one person it was a king single bed. This accommodation was definitely not for 4 people. My husband hit his head on the ceiling twice and we slept on top of each other definitely not for 2 people. I didn’t sleep the 4 nights we were there.

This is a beautifully renovated apartment done in the style of the area. It has some unusual and charming features and is immaculately clean. It feels very homely and is extremely well equipped. The kitchen is tiny but well organised. The bathroom has high quality fittings and is spacious. The very large roof balcony is fabulous, complete with sunloungers and dining table and chairs. Donato was very welcoming with some provisions in the fridge on arrival. He is always contactable too. It is very well located, quiet and a few minutes fom town. There is parking around. Search out the places and then you become familiar with where it's possible. Free parking is within the white bays. A large Carrefour supermarket is a few minutes drive away.

The previous reviews of the steep and uneven stone steps inside are valid. Care needs to be taken but we are 70 and managed perfectly well. They could be a problem with some who have mobilty issues or are a little uncertain on their feet.

It was more equipped than your own home and very pretty with stone walls and ceilings.

if you have mobility issues, the stairs will be a problem.

The extra bedroom was locked off. While we didn’t need the extra bed, it would have been nice to have the extra bathroom. The listing indicated we were renting a two bedroom. The hot water in the shower does not last long at all.

The location was excellent. The property was really lovely with a great balcony and very comfortable beds and 2 bathrooms. The property was very clean and lovely and bright. The host was excellent.

The height of the ceiling in the upstairs bedroom is low and would not suit a tall person.
