Soba Gloria

The apartment was very clean and tidy. The location is perfect - near to great restorants, fast food, public parking and the river. Our host was great and he explain us everything and give us recommendations for dinner - thank you again Dino!

I've been to Slavonski Brod several times. Soba Gloria is located by the farmer's market and the main city hospital. During the day, the area might seem a bit chaotic because of it, with lots of little cafés and bakeries, but it's quiet at night. It's not where people party. You can access the building from the square, NOT from the street. It took me some time to figure that out. Soba means "room" in Croatian, so you're basically renting a room in a normal building. Location is very central. Korzo is 15 min away on foot. There's no private parking, but there's a little parking lot right across the street which does not seem super busy. I left my car there. It's not expensive, especially if your stay is short. But even if you're planning to stay longer, I don't think parking will be an issue. I was in touch with Dino, who was very helpful. Maybe you can ask him what the best option is. Overall, Soba Gloria is a great option: cheap, clean, central. Like most Italians, I'm not a breakfast person, but if you are, there's plenty of little cafés literally downstairs. You can sit outside with locals and enjoy espresso or have good ćevapi for brunch if you're hungry.

The only downside is that the room is located at the end of a large landing. A door bars the entrance to a smaller area with 4 doors: one gives access to your room, another one to your private bathroom, the third and the fourth doors, I assume, are another room/bathroom combo. This means that, in order to get to your private bathroom, you have to leave your room. Not a big deal, in my opinion, the common area is super small, your bathroom door is literally 2 metres away from your room, but still it's something to keep in mind when you want to take a shower or just go to the bathroom at night: you might bump into someone else. So, cover up :)

The room is cosy and nice, the location is perfect

The hostess mom was very nice and her cute little dog. She gives you food recommendations the moment you check in. Location was great & within walking distance from main bus station. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Wery clean and Location is perfect, we had wedding so the owner help us to iron our clothes for the wedding . Big thanks and highly recommend this apartment.
