BJs Seaside

The moment I walked into the place, I felt a sense of peace. There is such good, welcoming energy here. Billy and Joy are an absolute pleasure to be around and chat with. Such accommodating and genuinely kind, caring people. I loved chatting with them and they were so helpful with any questions I had. The area was quaint and felt safe to walk as a solo female. It’s right on the water by the pier. They keep the property in top shape, it feels exceptionally clean and well kept. I loved the room, as it was spacious and had a balcony area overlooking the water. And Joy is such an incredible cook! The breakfast was so tasty and also filling. They invited me to hang out with them and their friends the first night I was there, that’s how welcoming they are. I would without a doubt recommend the place and would certainly stay here again. I can’t thank them enough, these people go above and beyond

There was absolutely nothing I didn’t like. Everything was superb. The only thing I didn’t like was not being able to stay longer.

Unlike other accomodations where their breakfast would only tickle your tummy, BJ's breakfast would fill up your tummy. More importantly, it was delicious! Joy really cooks well. And not to forget, there's always free coffee.

In terms of the overall accomodation vis-a-vis the room rate, I can't say any.

Amazing stay at BJ’s, one of our favourites in Cebu island! Definitely best breakfast that we had in the Philippines, cooked by the lovely Joy! Fresh fruits from the garden, homemade sauces and juice, delicious omelette!! Billy and Joy are great hosts, nice chats about the country, the surrounding etc and also great personalities! Would definitely come back! Room is large, clean and comfy. Air con and fan in the room work very well :) Lovely location and great view from the terrace! 🥰 Water dispenser, tea and coffee available at all times in the common area. They also offer cold drinks from the fridge. They sorted scooter rental for us in a not very touristic area, and gave us advice on what to do in Argao and how to move around with public transport for our onward journey. Thank you Billy and Joy for making us feel like at home, wish you all the best in life 🩷

Only minus are mosquitoes outside! But Bill and Joy provide mosquito spray :)

‎There’s nothing not to like about BJ Seaside in Argao. Although it’s not extravagant in any way, it’s a very decent and pleasant place that truly helps you relax and enjoy the quiet, serene coastal atmosphere. ‎ ‎The rooms are clean, and the beddings are fresh and well-maintained. They provide basic essentials and toiletries, which makes the stay comfortable and convenient. It’s also relatively near the town proper, so you can easily explore the area. ‎ ‎One of the best features is the beautiful seaside view, where you can simply watch the sunset and unwind. The nearby beach isn't at par with the white-sand beaches in other parts of Cebu, but they waters are clean. ‎ ‎The hosts, Billie and Joy, are incredibly warm. They are truly one of the highlights of the place because their service is superb. They have such a welcoming aura that makes you feel at home. The breakfast is great, and they even have lovely cats, a big plus for a cat lover like me. ‎ ‎There are also cafés nearby if you get hungry, or you can visit the pier in the afternoon for barbecue and ice cream. Don’t forget to try the local dedelicacies and talk to the locals. ‎ ‎Argao is a small and quiet that offers an invitation to do nothing - which is to truly relax, enjoy your own company, and live the life you want. ‎ P. S It's easy to locate the place, just tell the motorcycle/tricycle drivers to drop you off at BJ Seaside (few meters, same street with Chitang's Torta)

L'accueil de cette petite guest house est très chaleureuse. Vous vous sentez comme à la maison. Tout est fait pour vous satisfaire. Billy et son épouse sont charmants. Le petit déjeuner est incroyable, tant en qualité qu'en quantité. Les fruits frais, le jus de fruits et tout le reste sont savoureux. Le jardin est magnifique et invite à la détente. Possibilité de louer une moto auprès d’un garage partenaire (500pesos/jour)

Les chiens du voisin sont un peu bruyants la nuit.
