Villa Jobim

Villa was lovely big comfortable bed ,swimming pool was a good bonus

No aircon 1 fan to keep 4 people to keep cool as it was 40 degrees host could not speak English so was hard to ask thing to far away from any supermarket not a lot around there to do . It is on a big housing complex on hills roads uneven not suitable for people on motorcycles

Climatización mejorable, demasiado calor por cerramientos de cristal, decoración demasiado sofisticada para una residencia de vacaciones, construcción con demasiados cambios de altura

In villa we liked everything - starting from great interior, fully equipped kitched, barbecue area where we spent most of our time and following by fantastic covered pool and views to the river from the balcony. This is a really great place I would definitely return to.

This was a fantastic place to stay. We are a family with 2 children. We rented a car but we could easily have just used airport transfers and ubers. Jose the host met us when we arrived and showed us around. Everything we needed was there from Portugese pastries on arrival to washing powder for the machine. Extremely spacious... Although I would have liked the room with the biggest balcony that caught the morning sun, but this was locked. No big deal though. The rooms we had were great too. There were extra blankets in the wardrobes too which we used as it was a bit cold when we were there. It overlooks the river which gives great views. The pool is not heated but we knew this before booking. I'd say in the summer time when it's hot it would be nicer as the room might heat up a bit more. We still had a couple of swims. I'd highly recommend this for a group of friends or a family who want the extra space outside of the town centre.

There were new villas being built opposite ours when we were there, and the workers started at 8am so it was a bit noisy on a couple of mornings. Obviously, this was out of the host's control. The hot water ran out too quick for our family of 4 and takes a while to heat back up.
