The poor starving cats! Greece really needs a desexing program for the many sad looking cats. The apartment is really hard to get to if you have to carry your bags over the cobblestone streets. Then you'll have 2 flights of stairs to climb. I had read this in other reviews and thought it wouldn't be a problem but it was. I'd stay closer to an entrance gate or outside the old city and closer to the beach and do day visits to the old city. At this price a washing machine would be great but we paid to wash at the laundry mat. Very small bathroom, not suitable for large people.

Location was great, host was really lovely and even though we arrived early he still came to meet us. The space was really clean and tidy.

The WiFi is very poor connection, it didn't bother us too much but could be worth looking into! The view wasn't very pleasing as it was overlooking an abandoned area but again, we weren't too bothered.

Ce fut un très agréable séjour dans un bel établissement situé au calme. Un petit écrin comme on en trouve de moins en moins. Très bien équipé et très agréable, cosy et romantique.

L'emplacement dans la Vieille ville est l'un des points forts de cet hébergement qui est, en fait, la maison entière, le rez-de-chaussée n'étant pas occupé. On y accède par une rue très calme et fleurie. D'une première courette pleine de plantes on accède, par l'escalier, à la grande terrasse principale, équipée des meubles de jardin, parfaite pour prendre son petit déjeuner au soleil. Pour accéder à l'appartement il faut monter encore une dizaine de marches. L'appartement est confortable, propre, bien équipé, idéal pour un couple et, éventuellement, une troisième personne qui pourrait dormir sur le canapé du salon.

Il n'y a rien qui m'a gêné, mais je tiens à attirer l'attention sur certains points. Il est pénible de trainer ses valises par des rues de la Vieille ville, pavées de galets. Il faut penser à trouver des petits taxis qui y ont accès. Des restaurants de la Vieille ville sont dans la plupart des pièges à touristes. Le seul que j'ai aimé est Oisis, à deux pas de la maison. Pour trouver un super-marché digne de ce nom, il faut sortir en dehors des remparts. Je recommande Kritikos. Dans sa proximité il y a une bonne boulangerie. Le marché principal est très loin et sans intérêt, mais juste à cote se trouve une excellente poissonnerie. Enfin, des épiceries bio sont rares, mais j'en est trouvé une tout à fait correcte: Iliokipos. Conclusion: il ne faut jamais désespérer.

It’s a gorgeous property away from the madness of old town. Very easy to find and close to lots of nice bars, eateries and supermarket.

Another AC unit in the bedroom. There’s only one over the front door which does not suffice for the whole apartment. Luckily it was breezy and we were able to sleep with the windows wide open but can’t imagine what it’s like in the height of summer
