I booked Hotel Meera and turned up at 7pm after a hard day's ride on my motorbike from Kathmandu. When I arrived, they said I couldn't stay as I am a foreigner! (I suspect they couldn't be bothered to do the paperwork) Owner/Manager then phoned me to say that they were not allowed to have foreigners as guests! So why advertise AND confirm on Booking.com As it was late and dark, I had to ride a further 45km to find a hotel with vacancies They then told Booking.com that I was a NO SHOW!!! I suspect so they didn't have to pay their fee! DONT BOOK THIS HOTEL IF YOU ARE A FOREIGNER
