Ekefaru Inn

Lovely inn close to the best beach in Viligili, Love Point. Very friendly staff, they tried to accommodate all my requests. It is wonderful to know you can stay at the island in other places that are not the big resorts.

Hotel room was very spacious and clean, air condition working + silent! English breakfast (eggs + sausages), toast bread, jam, porridge, tea and coffee. I really enjoyed dinner at the hotel (rice and curry), the chef is fantastic. Only a pool was missing, but then, it's only a 10min walk to the beach.

Viligili is not prepared for tourists, yet. According to the friendly staff at the hotel, some tourist attractions are planned in the near future (water park, shops for snorkelling or diving trips,...). Currently it is super quiet, you have the whole beach almost to yourself! Love point has trees, palms and picknick facilities, Viligili beach 5min down the road has a bar and restaurant (closed during the day due to Ramadan).

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and even helped me book additional services. The correspondance in English was good.

I didn't actually stay at Ekefaru Inn, upon arrival they sent me to a different location because Ekefaru Inn was full (!), and the second location wasn't as nice as Ekefaru Inn, judging by the photos. Also, the breakfast was served at Ekefaru Inn, not the other end of the island where I stayed, so I had to go there for breakfast. But again, the staff being very kind made it an ok experience anyway.
