Great house as described and shown in photos. Was very clean and the instructions to check in were clear. Host was also very responsive and helpful.

I just wanted to share a bit of feedback following our recent stay at your property. Overall, the accommodation was comfortable and served our purpose well. However, we did notice a few issues that might need attention: A few bulb lights were not working in the kitchen and the upstairs bathroom. When the bathroom and shower room were used at the same time, the hot water pressure dropped significantly, causing the water to turn cold. There were some loose fittings in the kitchen—for example, the cooker knob for igniting the fire was falling off. These were minor inconveniences, and aside from that, everything else was great. Flower View is a modern, spacious, 3 bedroom semi-detached house in a pleasant neighbourhood, and has a lovely outlook onto a park at the rear. While just off the main A6023 Doncaster Road, Rossington Street itself is quiet, and there’s off-street parking for two cars. This was my first stay at Flower View with my two teenage daughters, and there was much that suited us nicely. Location-wise, it worked very well for us, being close to my Mum/the girls’ Grandma who lives in Mexborough. It was also handy to have an Asda supermarket, Greggs, Costa Coffee and a MacDonalds all within walking distance. Downstairs, there’s a good-sized kitchen which has most of what you would need for a short break. The lounge/diner has modern furniture and a large TV. The decor throughout is minimalist and quite basic, but we found we preferred this to other properties we’ve stayed in that are full of nik-naks and clutter. Upstairs, there’s a bathroom with just a bath (no shower), an en-suite shower room, and there's a downstairs cloakroom. It’s always handy to have more than one loo! The beds were clean and comfortable and blackout curtains in every bedroom were a definite plus. There was no bedside lamp in the smallest bedroom, but we were able to relocate one of the pair of lamps from the main bedroom, so that was fine. Our host, Tara, was responsive and a pleasure to deal with. Overall, we were very happy with Flower View for our short break, and will definitely be booking again.

We were initially dismayed that the heating hadn't been turned on for our late afternoon arrival in December, and the house was very cold. There were no instructions for the central heating controls, but once I'd worked them out, the rooms warmed up quite quickly. We all prefer a shower, but with only a bath in the main bathroom, we all took turns in the en-suite. This was fine for us as a family, but may not work quite as well for a non-family group of sharers. There were no mirrors at all in any of the bedrooms, which was tricky for 3 ladies!

The accommodation was amazing and very pleasant 😊, we all loved it .
