Pondok Chesia By The Loka

I booked again because it was so amazing! Wish I had found this place sooner to save all the effort in switching between villas. Thanks everyone & Chesia! Will come back 100%

Had an amazing stay. Nothing to complain about. Clean, good wifi, shower, pool, garden, everything was so pleasant and nice. The staff and family were friendly and helpful.

Cute houses, good working A//C and nice refreshing pool. Check in/out was very easy and we were even able to take a quick shower at the end of the day before heading towards the airport even though we checked out in the morning.

There is construction next door. Didn’t bother us that well (earplugs)

My stay at Pondok Chesia was pleasant. Quiet although just a few footsteps from the busy street. It was my second time visiting the property during my 3 week vacation in Bali. My first stay was for one night towards the rear of the property where there are little wooden-like cabin houses all with a shared pool access right outside the door. Each had a little balcony, rooms were small, a bit tight but very cute, comfortable, & most importantly clean. Staff was notified of a birthday celebration at booking and it was a sweet surprise to find a beautiful birthday decoration awaiting my arrival along with a welcome non-alcholic beverage. Wish i was able to stay longer to enjoy the pool and have some relaxation. As for my 2nd stay, it was at one of the rooms at the front of the property, also clean but still on the smaller side, bed was comfortable, & good AC. I was comfortable as a solo traveler. For a couple, its fine once you're not carrying a lot of luggage like me. There was a cabinet to hang clothing which was nice and an iron was available upon request but it is shared with other guests so plan ahead just incase. The neighborhood is a bit convenient, great restaurant and bar 10 mins walking distance as well as a little beer spot with karaoke (locals singing when i was there). It was nice, friendly people, and safe. Also a couple boutiques nearby but a scooter is a better option to get to the major spots within minutes vs. walking. Do book & enjoy.

Wasn't sure what the arrangement was with the little open-concept kitchen area but didn't inquire since i was in and out. There was a refridgerator and a table, I guess if one needed to use. No staff present at the front during the very late hours when I was there but still felt safe.

It was very clean and the staff were great

No mosquito net and there was plenty of holes for them to get in the room and the is construction right next to the room with a chain saw going all the day
