Puleera Boutique Hotel

We had a great stay at Puleera Boutique Hotel. The building is exeptionnel and was renovated with attention to detail. The entire property has a special flair, pool area and garden are especially beautiful. Our room was spacious and well equiped, the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was served on the terrace with great views each morning. A very delicious welcome dinner is hosted regularly in the garden (additional cost), wine and other drinks can be ordered in the afternoon. The hosts and staff are so warm and friendly, we felt very welcome. Thank you Paola and team for a lovely time.

We had wonderful five days at Puleera and enjoyed every moment of our stay. The venue is a modernized traditional estate perfectly located between Catania and Taormina with a stunning view on the Etna. The rooms are generous, clean and modernly equipped. We were served a delicious breakfast on the terrace every day and spend our time either doing daily trips on the island or relaxing at the beautiful pool in the middle of Puleera’s vineyard (the wine of which you can taste there as well). Paola and her family + team are lovely people and constantly supported us in planning our days, recommending/booking restaurants or keeping us hydrated with drinks at the pool.

The building, the setting and the staff

The property was charming, staff was great, location was very quiet and the view at the Etna mountain was breathtaking. We really enjoyed our stay here. It’s a perfect destination for the families with children - welcoming pool, romantic vineyard, lemon, olive and even pomegranate trees. Loved it! 🍋🤍

Beautiful restored vineyard property with 6 bedrooms, pool and wonderful staff, with views of Etna and the sea. Amazing home-cooked food from the local area. Great location to visit Taormina, Acireale (& other Acis) and Syracuse as well as Mama Etna.

Beautiful small hotel with a nice view of Etna and the sea. Paola and her parents have been absolutely lovely and super helpful hosts. Can't recommend enough if you are looking for a small hotel as a basis to explore Catania, Taormina and Mount Etna. The poolside Aperitivo was absolutely fantastic!

We had an amazing time in early March 2023 at this beautiful old winery/villa turned boutique hotel perched between Mount Etna and the sea. The hospitality of Paola and her family is outstanding and they made us feel welcome, looked after every moment of our one-week stay, and helped us organise activities. The mornings started with a delicious breakfast including homemade food and unique Sicilian treats such as granita and fresh pastries. When the weather was nice (which luckily was almost every day), we had breakfast on their stunning terrace with views on Etna and the sea. My partner celebrated her birthday here and the staff organised a birthday cake for the day. We also made our own pasta and had a delicious home cooked 3-course meal during our stay. The house is surrounded by a beautiful garden with citrus trees and vines. Our room was next to the reception area. It was quiet, spacious and had all necessary amenities. The beautifully restored ceiling fresco made the room extra special. There’s lots of nice places to sit and relax outside. We hired a car and explored the surrounding area. There is lots to see, as the hotel is conveniently located between Catania and Taormina with many small seaside towns in between. The town the hotel is located in has several good bakeries and an amazing hammam/spa which we would definitely recommend.

The setting of the property was beautiful, Etna on one side and the sea on the other. The property has been renovated with care and attention to detail. Well done. The hosts always welcoming and warm. What else would one ask for. A great stay in a beautiful setting with family.
