Very spacious apartment fitted out to a high spec. Very comfortable and had everything we needed for a short stay. Excellent location within walking distance to everything. Great communication with the owner.

Our apartment was an interior facing unit which meant it was a little darker and not possible to have the windows open. It wasn’t a problem for a short stay like ours but I would book an exterior facing apartment if I was staying for longer!

Instructions were clear and easy to follow.

10/10 A wonderful option in an excellent location, with an exceptionally responsive and committed host! No hesitations to book it again or to recommend to others! We booked a total of 3 apartments for a one week stay in Sept 2024 during a self-drive tour of Sicily. There are a total of 5 x 1 bedroom apartments, all on the 2nd floor of a beautiful historical building. They have all been renovated and beautifully furnished and provide an ideal situation for a small group travelling together but able to have fully separate and private quarters. Extremely well located for all types of travelers, whether you have a car or are on foot (approx 5 minute walk to bus terminal, and a local bus stop right outside front door); plus within less than 10 minute walk to most major sites in Palermo. We had a car rental as we were doing many day trips to nearby towns, and our host Riccardo reserved a parking spot for us (20 Euro per day) in a nearby facility (5 minute walk). Please note that if you have a car, do not consider accommodations without a guaranteed parking situation like this one, or you will be seriously frustrated and disappointed! Street parking promises are a very big illusion in central Palermo!! Also note, that this property is within the ZTL zone and you will need to make the daily request for the pass required to drive in this area. The other great thing about this KALSA area location - it is filled with a huge variety of dining options, and a great vibrant vibe! As noted by other travelers, being on a major street (Via Roma) in a central location, does mean that 2 of 5 units that face this street will be noisy, that’s the trade off of being in a central location! 3 of the apartments will face the courtyard and do not have this issue. Our apartment faced the main street and my husband and I used earplugs to sleep comfortably! As someone in the travel industry over 25yrs, I have much experience in sourcing and finding good accommodation, and this is a gem!

No toiletries and only 1 toilet roll. Only 2 coffee capsules and no water, milk, wine or other welcome treat. The balcony with the furniture on was misleading as it is a shared balcony and not accessible directly from the apartment.

The location is absolutely ideal in the centre of Palermo. If you’re arriving by train or bus from the airport, it is a 7 minute walk to the apartment. The hosts couldn’t be more helpful - they ensured that we had everything we needed for our stay in the city. The units are brand new and beautifully decorated and some of the historic architectural features remain in the apartments. These units are ideal for a family or group of friends that want to be together but have their privacy as well.

The property was beautifully presented. Riccardo and his team were so helpful and informative. Was in a brilliant location to explore the city.
