Il galleone

Exceptionally clean and beautifully furnished rooms. Antonella and her staff were wonderful, so helpful and nice. The self check in was easy and painless. Highly recommend! Fantastic location.

Parking wasn't necessarily easy to figure out on our own (the city's issue, not Il Galleone's), but Antonella was easy to reach through Booking.com messenger and telephone. She explained everything quickly and parking was a breeze after that!

Absolutely beautiful, immaculate property with all the furnishings throughout sympathetic to the architecture. In addition, the owner Antonella has thought of everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible ie. a small refrigerator in the room containing water, a safe, a map of the city, umbrellas etc - she also sent details of sightseeing and restaurant recommendations and we took her advice on three - all were excellent. The location of the B&B also couldn't be better, literally two minutes walk to the Piazza del Duomo.

The room was comfortable, located in a central area and close to everything within walking distance. the bed was comftrable and he room is comtrable and have all we needed.

Breakfast consisted of coffee and cake only.The shower is a bit small and crowded.

Lovely room and nice continental breakfast. Perfectly located to walk or take the tram to see the sights. The young couple who hosted us were really warm, knowledgeable and so enthusiastic about Messina giving us all sorts of tips. This was meant to be a stopover stay but it was one of the highlights of our trip.

Rosario and Antonella were both incredibly kind, warm and welcoming throughout our entire stay and provided excellent recommendations to see beautiful Messina and it's surrounds

Room was very comfortable and spacious. Well located. There is parking in the street (reasonably priced). Simple breakfast provided (croissant and coffee).

Since the rooms are located along a corridor and there is an open kitchen area, when people were talking we could it hear it very clearly in our room. This was a downside for us as it awoke us (but we only stayed for one night so can’t indicate if it was an exception)

The host was great and easy to deal with, the accommodation was spacious, clean, comfortable, and nicely present. Location was excellent, with metre street parking accessible.

The location is great, about 200m from the cathedral. The host is very nice. The room is well furnished, ac works properly.
