AUThe location was amazing, right across the road from Glencairn beach - we could see the ocean from the bed! Parking is just outside the apartment and felt very safe. Distance to Boulder's Beach and the penguins was 10 minutes, and the drive further to Cape Point is easy and very scenic. The Visitor Centre at Cape Point is a must visit! The apartment was very clean, had everything we needed and upon arrival Lesley had left us a lovely bottle of wine to welcome us into her home. The neighboring house was also lovely, with the tenants being so welcoming - we had a braai with them all on our first night and spent the following night with them at Cape Point vineyards food market. There is also a lovely coffee shop that has opened up just next to the apartment - coffee is really good. Overall we had the best experience here and are so grateful for this warm welcome to our first visit to Cape Town! Thank you Lesley, we hope to come back again very soon!
The bed was a little squeaky however still very comfortable.

ZAAbsolutely fabulously located just across from the beach. Easy access to restaurants and other activities. Space was very comfortable. Home from home.
Can’t say there was anything we didn’t like - bed was a bit squeaky but we definitely slept well.

The R2000 cash deposit was very strange, but since we had already been charged for the non-refundable booking, we had no choice but to hand over the cash. (Nothing about the deposit being cash rather than a credit card hold or similar was mentioned before the booking was confirmed). No receipt was given for the deposit. And we were warned in excruciating detail not to make a mess on the linen and towels. Upon check out the linen and towels were inspected in detail by two different people in our presence before we were given our deposit back. This was very invasive, rude and uncomfortable and not something we had ever experienced before - neither as a guest or host. Sadly this experience overruled all the other wonderful aspects of this property and I hope that the host will seriously reconsider this policy.
ZAGBThe view was excellent. The beach had Kite Surfers, ordinary Surfers plus beach users with their frolicking dogs. While in location it was a pleasure to see the mass of Runners going along the Main Rd on one weekend and if you missed this sighting there would also be a similar sporting event such as the Cape Town cycle race due in April/March. It was money well spent.
The access at the rear could be a little bit difficult if either occupants were mobility impaired. Should you not be a sporty person and tourer there was no television available so take books or cards etc to while away the night times.
