The place is very clean, especially all the bed sheets, and kitchen equipment. The owner takes care of all the fine details including what we might need in the kitchen, eg kitchen spices, tin foil for roasting, baking paper, plastic wraps and paper kitchen towels. Sometimes for a short stay, we just need a little bit for 1-2 meals, we do not need to buy a whole roll of plastic wrap or foil. I needed an extra z-bed in the room upstairs but I forgot to inform the owner in advance. As I was staying a few days, She came early the next morning and set up everything by herself!! Even carried the z-bed up the stairs!! There's 3 very spacious bedrooms. There's lots of space to put your luggage - for overseas travellers There are 2 toilets - so there's no fight for the toilets in the morning. There's also extra toilet rolls provided! Some places only provide the initial roll and no extras! Little touches to the place, eg setting up a Christmas tree during this festive season is very sweet. As this is a family bonding trip - it was nice to be able to come to a living room with a Christmas tree even though we are not at home - it brings the Christmas spirit to our holiday. Neighbourhood location is in a quiet, safe residential area. I feel safe coming in and out of place. Morrisons is just about 5min drive away. The master bedroom upstairs has a small kitchen, TV and ensuite bathroom and toilet. Overall, definitely value for money and the customer service is superb!! Thank you Shona for making our stay so pleasant... And making memories for our holiday

Both toilets are upstairs, not so convenient for those who needs the toilet frequently. The rooms upstairs are much colder than the rooms on the ground level, I guess this is a structural issue, not something that the owner can do anything about. Those staying there just need to assign the right people to the right rooms, considering usage of toilets and cold resilience for winter months

driveway was perfect for my work van. and made me feel safer to leave it overnight. the house was clean and warm

the fridge buzzing in the bedroom all night 😆 wasn’t that bad really. other than that nothing!

Compact House with all accessories. Very Clean. Was a good stay. Would recommend it since its worth the price.

This house is spacious and clean with everything we needed for a weekend in Darlington. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen equipped with all necessities, the house was warm. The house was with walking distance to a Catholic church where we attended Sunday service.

Can't think of anything really!

Very clean property with everything we needed and easy parking on the driveway.

Would have preferred cotton bedding downstairs. Would have liked information on recycling please.
