This older renovation was done in a hurry and poorly, they missed repairing a major water leak in the bedroom which led to water damage, and by the time we got there it was full of mold. We couldn’t even enter the bedroom because the smell of mold was so strong. When I asked the property manager about it he just said that it “sometimes gets like that after a storm” and to turn the ac units to the dry setting and the smell should go away. It did not. The apartment is in the basement of a family home that has a lot of kids running around upstairs at all hours of the day. We left the property almost immediately for the sake of our health and sanity. Do not waste your money, do not stay here.

I am extremely disappointed with this stay, especially considering the $3,000 price tag. The condition of the property was completely unacceptable from the moment we arrived. The unit was dirty, disorganized, and clearly had not been properly cleaned or prepared for guests. Cupboards were a mess, and nothing was in its place. The beds were not made correctly — only a fitted sheet and a comforter were provided, with no top sheet, and the pillows had no pillowcases and were covered in stains, which was both unsanitary and unacceptable. Basic essentials such as dish soap, paper towels, toilet paper, and sponges were also missing. When I contacted the host, I was told that their team would come to address the issues, but no one initially showed up. My family and I had to go out and purchase our own cleaning supplies, sheets, and pillows just to make the unit usable. Someone eventually brought a few supplies, but by then, we had already spent time and money fixing problems that should never have existed in the first place. I also requested a partial refund due to the condition of the unit and the inconvenience caused, but never received any acknowledgment or response. For the amount we paid, this experience was completely unacceptable. The property felt neglected, unsanitary, and poorly managed. I would strongly advise future guests to think carefully before booking, and I hope the host takes this feedback seriously and makes significant improvements before renting the property again.

Perfect location for me. Had to be in Passaic for a couple days. Really nice friendly neighborhood and great hosts!

Clean, amazing and so nice. Didn’t use the tub but it looked clean and well set up. Lots of games and had refreshments in there.

Just no tv but didn’t mind that at all
