Unity Villa

Everything about Unity Villa was perfect. Everything was brand new and very good quality, from the fantastic bathrooms to the furniture, very comfortable beds, blackout window blinds for the whole villa, to the crockery and cutlery - clearly no expense was spared. The pool and outdoor BBQ are are fabulous and it's a 3 minute drive to the harbour where there are lots of lovely restaurants and shops, plus a lovely area to walk right by the sea. Pan was a fantastic host and his mum even booked us dinner while we were there, which was such a lovely treat. 10/10

What a place! The villa itself is immaculate and thoughtfully furnished/equipped – it's simple but super-stylish with everything you could ever need. The projector to stream and watch movies is a really nice touch! The outside space is large and private, with a beautiful pool and amazing views of the mountains beyond. Location is halfway between the small harbour town of Agia Effimia (which has some supermarkets, lovely bars and restaurants) and the magical Myrtos beach (get there early to beat crowds or arrive late evening for the best sunsets!) – but the villa also has a couple of lovely tavernas, a local store and a bakery just 3 minutes walk from your doorstep too. A 20/30 minute drive can get you to the Melissani Cave Lake and Sami to the East; and Assos and Fiskardo to the North. Pan and his mother are warm and generous hosts, nothing is too much trouble and they are close at hand to answer any questions or make recommendations – we even got a beautiful Kefalonian meal cooked and delivered for us on one day! We felt lucky to have stayed in such a beautiful place – highly recommend.

Excellent host, friendly and quick to answer questions. Accommodation was wonderful. Clean, luxurious and a great outside area with a nice pool overlooking the mountains. Fully equipped kitchen with a nice bottle of wine, water and sandwiches already provided on arrival. Location also great within a short distance of Myrthos beach and the lovely town of Agia Effimia.

Villa was in a fantastic location. Every part of the island to visit was roughly 30 mins drive from the villa. Pan was a fantastic host and we felt very welcome especially when his mother had cooked us a traditional kefalonian meal one evening. The villa itself was superb and modern with lots of privacy and extras like dishwasher, BBQ, sun loungers, private pool etc. A short walk away there are tavernas, bakery and garage/convenience store. We will be recommending this villa to friends and family and certainly visiting again.
