Gypcey Home

I think this was one of the best places I stayed in, it's hard to find a decent place in Arugam bay. It was a little bit more than my budget but the room is beautifully decorated and it is very clean. It was really nice to have my own space after travelling for so long.

The only thing I have to note is the government isn't providing any light outside at night just for safety being a female solo traveller. I met some friends who walked me back to the Gypcey home at night.

Amazing stay in walking distance to the centre, restaurants and surf rental spots! You should hire a scooter for an easier access to the main surf spot. The owner and staff are super helpful and accommodating- would definitely stay here again!

Great location just off the main street, good value for money, nice staff and nice that our room was 2 spaces for a bedroom and then additional space for luggage etc.

Shower was cold, but given the price and temperature of the area it didn't really matter

Alles was erg netjes en schoon. Erg lief personeel. Wij wilden graag surflessen nemen. De eigenaar hielp ons goed hiermee en we kregen leuke tips voor de omgeving.

Great place to stay in Arugam Bay, close to everything but far enough to be nice and quiet. The rooms are so comfortable and thoughtfully appointed, the A/C works well and is quiet, the garden is a lovely little oasis, the kitchen was really great to have especially for making smoothies, and the team is so helpful and easygoing. I really loved staying here, first for two nights and ultimately for a week. Highly recommended!

Tout était parfait! Le logement, la propreté, le personnel, on se sent bien dans cet endroit. Le petit déjeuner est excellent! Le personnel nous a beaucoup aidé pour la suite de notre itinéraire, merci pour tout.
