TURKISH HOSPITALITY AT ITS FINEST Wish to experience warm, exceptional Turkish hospitality first hand ? Then we highly recommend this Small House apartment adjacent to/just below the host’s apartment in central Konak area of Izmir which is the main central district of Izmir, Turkey. With two rooms this house is very suitable for a solo traveller or a couple with at the most one or two very small children. We spent 18 lovely days here in October 2025 and in all those days with the welcome, the care and the warmth that myself and my wife received from our hosts Erhan and Shenai we were simply overwhelmed. This accommodation is very clean and equipped with all things one needs during a stay. It has a fully equipped kitchen, modest shower room and toilet with all the necessary toiletries and a washing machine. The internet connection is also quite good. Nearby there is small modestly stocked shop where one can buy bottled water, Ayran yoghurt drink, some fresh bread and other miscellaneous food items. This Small House is also ideally situated. Just a short walk and across on the opposite side after crossing the main road is the Archaeological Museum of Izmir which can be reached within 4 or 5 minutes walk from this house. The house is also about 7 to 8 minutes’ walk to the centre of Konak – the Konak Square and Clock Tower and the famous Kemeralti Bazaar where you can find anything that you can think of. Just a walking distance from Kemeralti Bazaar is the Agora Open Air Museum showing the dug up remains of the ancient city of Smyrna which was what Izmir was known in the ancient times. The hosts offered all possible help with any help we needed including the Izmirim Karts (Cards) to enable us to explore Izmir cheaply by tram, metro train, buses or ferry. Highly recommended.

Erhan und seine Frau waren sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Schon ein paar Tage vor der Ankunft fragten sie, wie sie unsere Anreise unterstützen können und waren auch danach sehr hilfsbereit. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber gehalten, modern hergerichtet und es ist ALLES vorhanden. Vom Bügeleisen bis zur Waschmaschine. Die Lage ist sehr zentral, es ist aber trotzdem sehr ruhig. Wir blieben zwei Nächte und konnten hervorragend schlafen - ohne Ohrstöpsel :) Die Anfahrt ist etwas eng, mit einem Clio klappt es aber problemlos, auch mit einem größeren Auto würde es gehen. Parkplatz direkt am Haus. Insgesamt - eine fantastische Unterkunft um die ersten Schritte in Izmir zu machen.

Our accommodation was very clean and comfortable. Less than 10 minutes into town. Our hosts were very attentive, helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay there again. Highly recommended.

房东特别特别热情，会邀请我们一起去吃早餐，我们饿了还给我们鸡蛋让我们做番茄炒鸡蛋。傍晚也会很热情邀请我们去楼顶看日落。距离附近的景点也挺近的。最主要的是可以摸好多猫猫。嘿嘿。

地方不太好找，给我们开车的司机拐了好几个弯才找到。而且周围坡比较多，但是离市中心挺近的。

I proprietari sono estremamente gentili e attenti a rendere il soggiorno perfetto. La casa é curata in ogni minimo dettaglio (oltre ai prodotti per l'igiene personali, si troverà lo struccante, i cotton fioc e tutta una serie piccole attenzioni). Spettacolare l'invito in terrazza da cui si può vedere dall'alto smirne. Seguite i consigli che vi daranno perché vi faranno scoprire dei posti molto carini.

主人非常热情周到，邀请我们在他家的海景露台共享早餐。地理位置优越，到巴扎走路10分钟，巴士总站就在旁边。两个房间虽然小，但设施齐全，很干净，有小厨房还可以洗衣服。

对我们来说，床有点太软，不过这是因人而异的。

The apartment has everything you need for a stay in Izmir. It’s very close to the center at walking distance and in a quiet area. The hosts were very helpful and kind.
