The Chalets

The location was stunning. It was clean and comfortable. It was quiet and the birds on the veranda were an added bonus.

Some basics would have been a great addition: salt and pepper in particular.

Lovely location very clean and well run everything you would need for a nice break away

The bed was a little hard that’s all but did not spoil the trip

Location was as described & an excellent get-away. Great terrace overlooking a huge lawn. Everything needed for a self catering stay but with two good pub-restaurants within easy walking distance. The Boot-Inn particularly good food. Great walks all around, no need to drive anywhere.

Good location, peaceful and remote.

Just a recommendation to supply throws for the sofas to snuggle up on an evening. Also some hooks on the back of bedrooms doors 🙂

The accommodation is cosy and comfortable and in a great location. We spent the week taking advantage of the surrounding area. Lots of mountain bike and walking trails. Two pub only a a short walk away and both were warm, welcoming, and offered great food. Myself and my husband had to work one of the days we were away and the Internet was sufficient enough for us to so. Thanks for a lovely break.

Check in is fairly late at 16.00 and check out is early at 10am.

The views and the location were great. The garden was good for our dog and there were plenty of walking routes near by.

The fridge smelled. It was clean though so it may just have been the result of it not having been used for a while. Other than that everything else in the chalet was great.

Lovely and modern, super clean and warm. Great location to hike scafell.

Bed was too hard for us
