Casa vacanze caratteristica, graziosa e spaziosa su più piani e adatta a soggiorni lunghi. Ho apprezzato in particolare la presenza del detersivo (con lavatrice) e detergenti oltre le altre cortesie offerte essendo la struttura raggiungibile solo a piedi e diventa difficoltoso portare la spesa. Locatario disponibile e cortese. Consigliabile, il soggiorno è stato piacevole e confortevole.

Essendo nel centro storico e turistico è inevitabile sentire le persone/ musica all' esterno di notte. Piccolo difetto in un materasso (che il locatario risolverà).

It was an adorable property decorated beautifully. It felt very authentic. The terrace was a treat and we had dinner up there a few times looking up at the stars! It was in a perfect location and close to everything but in a quiet street. The host was amazing, very attentive and kind. We stupidly locked ourselves out and left the key in the door! He sorted everything out and couldn’t have been more understanding about the entire situation! Thank you for our unforgettable trip :)

Logement pittoresque très bien placé, au cœur de la ville historique. Propreté impeccable. Lit très confortable. Échange direct avec le propriétaire. Terrasse sympathique. Lave linge (agréable).

We enjoyed staying in the old town, so close to restaurants and the beaches of Lama Monachile (5 min walk) and Lido Cala Paura (15 min walk). The host Giuseppe was very kind and communication with him was excellent. He met us and brought us to the accommodation and shared information with us about beaches/restaurants. The house has a roof terrace with sun loungers and shade, and has the sun from morning into late afternoon, which was a bonus. It was great to have the whole house; it was quiet and yet just around the corner from the street that had most of the restaurants. The air con worked well, and there was a good shower with lots of hot water (once you turned on the hot water switch in the bathroom).

The bed was a bit hard

It is basically a narrow town house with 3 floors (if we count the terrace on the roof, which we definitely should as it is great!). The ground floor consists of a small sitting room, kitchenette and a bathroom with washing machine (without a shower). On the second floor, there is a bedrrom with a small cute balcony (with a clothes drying rack) and a full bathroom and on the top floor, there is a lovely terrace (with a sink :-)). So, there are quite a lot of stairs, which can be little hard if you cook your dinner on the ground floor and you want to eat it on the terrace two floors up. But if you have no health issues, the extra exercise is good for you :-) The location is absolutely perfect, in the maze of little alleys in the old city center, but this particular one gets very little traffic so it´s really quiet. All and all, the atmosphere of the place is truly authentic and you are going to feel like a local. The kitchen has all the basic things you might need for simple cooking, but there is no oven or microwave, no toaster, no dishwasher, but that only adds to the authentic old house atmosphere. There is AC though, which is very useful. The owner, who speaks English, was very helpful and friendly, came with his father to pick us up from Bari airport for a very reasonable fee. There is good wifi, but you need to pay a small fee for it (it was 2 euros a day at the time of our stay). If you have (rent) a car, it is possible to park it free of charge near the train station, which is a 10 minute walk from the house. The town and the famous beach get crowded in the afternoon and evening so we recommend getting up earlier and exploring them in the morning (sunrise from the famous balconies above the cliffs is stunning).

The only little issue was low water pressure in the shower, sometimes it was just a trickle, but it was manageable.

Great location and atmosphere !

In the heart of Polignano, close to restaurants, shops and the beach. We absolutely loved it. House was very clean and nicely renovated in typical Italian way. Terrace was outstanding with a glimpse of the sea.
