ITGreat value for money! Central location, FIBER OPTIC internet connection, private bathroom, a table/desk for working and a window. Don’t expect luxury but I was very happy with the room for the price paid. Staff were lovely and helpful, a great stay overall!

ATOnly the location, & also they have sent me a welcoming message after my booking, unlike "City View Point",where that was my 1st booking in Srilanka,& after I got the booking confirmation fr. booking.com,wrote also city v.point,mentioning happy to stay & that I'm on a holiday etc. So reached Kandy around 1.30,..& after a lunch,walk etc,was surching for V.C.point, & suddenly found a cancellation of my booking. So I asked why,...?was telling a lie story due to a repair etc,so understood that he has given it to somebody, doing monkey business, he then over the phone, offered me a shared room with a lady,which surprised me. As I don't like shared rooms,WC,bath, i refused his offer, & felt lost. So then I found Madura Rest. I live in Austria,& from the hotel trade having lot of experiences, & I have successfully demonstrated my experiences with Booking.com fr.2015-2018 by running my River Park Inn at,Galle with 9.2 & 9.1 points.,& have gained a good reputation for B.com. So fr.these situations I understood,what a perfect & clean service that I have offered for my guests. At daleast better to check those places,time to time,I suggest.,as many people just want to reach for money without knowing what to offer....etc. Thank you.
The bathroom was hopeless,the sink & the commode was acceptable for emergency, with the broken tank lid, the WC.door can't close. The shower was not working,& had to get his help, also to close, otherwise dropping water sound. At the narrow shower area on the wall bottom or covering, an ugly broken big hole frightening you. Same in a nother room. Pls.go for a random & check, just to see what they offer & how they ruin Image of B.com. Also tourists will get a very bad image,if they book. Thanking you....

LKThis place, located in a place that you don’t want to worry about anything, because you can get all your needs around near by, food stores, super markets, transportation etc…,, Have to say not a luxury place buy very much worthy for what we are paying for, Im 100% sure you cant find a comfortable stay anywhere else in kandy, with all need facilities for this much cheap price.. ☺️
