Mountain cheers munnar

It was the best stay in munnar specially the hospitality . The property is located in a beautiful area with best view for sunset. Also the property is providing with all the facilities campfire, fridge, kitchen, Aquagaurd, barbeque etc. The best part was the host who was so helpful and friendly will surely recommend everyone to have a stay at Mountain Cheers

Extremely helpful and responsive host. Manish made sure our stay was comfortable and also provided local sightseeing recommendations. Located 8-9 miles from Munnar town and comes with great views of the surrounding mountains. Most of the basic amenities were provided upon request and the beds were comfortable. The Wi-Fi also worked well during our stay. Home cooked meals were available at additional cost which was good. They also arrange campfire and BBQ for an additional charge if requested in advance.

Not the fault of the property or the host, but the surrounding locality does not have good food options via restaurants, quality and taste will be sub-par. Plan and communicate in advance if you are looking for homestay style food as it typically requires a 12 hour advance notice. It would have been nice if amenities such as soaps, hand-wash and towels were arranged/provided by default prior to arrival and not on a request basis.

Nice location, close to Munnar town and Kollukumalai. Beautiful views of the mountains and tea estates in an isolated area, without many tourists. Host and staff was very hospitable and pleasant to deal with. They did their best to meet all of our requests. They also helped to arrange tea and dinner for us, as well as drive to the town to purchase small items for us. Filtered water available on premises which was quite useful.

The interiors need more maintenance such as repainting. The parking is a bit difficult at first, but once you get a hang of it, it is not too bad. It would be better if the host could keep some more amenities (e.g. tea, coffee, towels, soap, etc. inside the residence for visitors to use). Currently, visitors need to request these items separately to the host. The price point was a bit high for the type of residence, and the use of amenities like BBQ and kitchen for cooking have extra fees. I would recommend that the use of amenities be included in the price of the residence. These are simply some areas for improvement, but overall, we were still pleased with the residence.
