The design of the space is beautiful & the views are great. Kitchen is well equipped.

It’s really cold & our host didn’t leave the right fire starting equipment for us. No kindling, very little fire lighters. Needed a lot better quality wood. The house is really cold, only one room had electric blanket. Hot water is limited.

Incredible home with stunning views! Good communication with hosts. Stylishly decorated and well equipped home.

Lovely location in a quiet little town. Unobstructed views of surrounding farmlands, mountains and countryside. LOVED the art collection in the house - real conversation pieces. Well equipped kitchen - scullery/pantry a welcome extra. No television, but books, magazines and games to keep one busy. Outside areas - very inviting! Loved the "natural" wild garden in the front of the house and the more formal garden out back. Very well thought out home with creative flair!

Arrived to an unserviced house - beds not made; kitchen dirty; rubbish not removed. No communication/Miscommunication between owner and cleaning staff. Although I was able to get hold of the owner; who then arranged for the cleaning staff to come and clean, this did put a dampener on our experience! Very light curtaining in rooms - very little chance of sleeping late. Not really allied to the house, but if you stay during the week, be aware that Rosendal's "restaurant" options are very limited - make sure to bring your own provisions for self-catering.

This is the place to stay , to totally relax and get away …. so peaceful ☺️ The environment was breathtaking and very quiet…. loved it ! The house was clean and beautifully decorated… TOP CLASS! Loved the “ Dream Pantry” , the spectacular view from the long stoep and the beautiful town of Rosendal !! Thank you to the owner Godfrey… we will be back !!👌

We loved everything !!!

The setting is stunning and quiet. Loved the modern unit and the furnishings and extras were great. Loved the board games. Loved the scullery. The extra fridge in the scullery was great. It has everything you need. The fire place was also amazing. We all loved our stay and the unit is exactly like pictured

These are minor things: second bedroom shower door didn’t close The aircon in the second room wasn’t working so was freezing getting to bed There are no blockout curtains in the rooms so the light coming in the morning is very bright There was no tablets for the dishwasher

We really liked the serenity and views of the mountains. The property was comfortable and had everything we needed.

Serene, comfortable, secluded. Great kitchen with everything you need. Restaurants and gallery were nice to have in close proximity.

Access to the pool a bit tricky but looks like they were building a deck. Neighbours can look into pool.
