Hotel Paraiso Caribeño

Location is right on the main strip in Bocas Town, you can walk from the airport, literally, in about ten minutes. Ideal for access to all boat docks and for access to all of the nightlife on offer in Bocas Town. I had a front facing room with a terrace and being able to sit and relax in the breeze is something special. Front facing means possibly late night noise and especially early morning as the cafe across the street seems to open at 5.30am with music. Fun, but not fun if you want to sleep later. The staff were very helpful and accommodating with luggage storage both on arrival and departure. Breakfast was decent and did the job. All in all a very satisfactory stay.

Rooms are turned over very fast and the only “ick” I had was attention to detail in the bathroom. While in the shower, the soap from a previous guest was clearly visible and present which gave me reason to question the level of attention given to cleaning the bathroom during room turnover.

O pequeno almoço devia ser mais variado e com mais fruta, pois nos supermecados havia e com variedade. A limpeza do quarto foi fraca. Nem no dia da chegada tivemos a cortesia de água no quarto.

Die Lage war sehr gut und das Personal an der Rezeption war sehr bemüht und freundlich.

Das Zimmer war heruntergekommen. Im Schrank war lediglich ein verbogener Kleiderbügel vorhanden. Der Schrank an sich war nicht mehr stabil. Holz lag im Schrank herum. Anstatt des in der Ausstattung benannten Fernsehers war lediglich eine Befestigung für diesen vorhanden. Der Spiegel im Bad war fleckig und es lagen Dinge, wie alte Lufterfrischer, herum. Zudem hat über uns in der Decke ein sehr aktives Tier gehaust, wodurch ständig laute Geräusche zu hören waren.

Bei Ankunft war in unserem Zimmer die Klimaanlage defekt. Am zweiten Tag konnten wir in ein anderes Zimmer wechseln. Beim Frühstück gab es sowohl bei der Getränke - als auch Speiseauswahl verschiedene Möglichkeiten.

La cercanía a restaurantes, habitaciones limpias y proximidad a lanchas para tours.

En las habitaciones se escuchaban ratones corriendo entre las paredes con sonidos desagradables, especialmente los días de lluvia. El restaurante no tenía mucha variadad en desayuno ni en cenas. Para las cenas nos cobraron el impuesto cuando en muchos lugares no lo hacían.
