The Cowshed

It was surprisingly spacious with everything you could need for your stay. The wood burner on a chilly evening was a bonus and being able to open the doors on to the view was lovely. Good proximity to Salisbury.

Our stay in this converted milking barn was a delightful escape. The rustic charm of the original structure was tastefully preserved, creating a cozy retreat with a thoughtful interior. The fully equipped kitchen provided a blend of old-world charm and modern comfort. The bed was notably comfortable, ensuring a peaceful night's rest after our explorations. The location was ideal, offering easy access to the enchanting wonders of the New Forest. Our days were filled with picturesque hikes, each unveiling the beauty of the surrounding area, including the captivating sight of wild horses. Local pubs became our haven for unwinding and savoring the moments. Our hosts were warm and welcoming, and the stove with a fire was a delightful surprise, especially after chilly walks. A heartfelt thanks for crafting such a memorable escape!

Perfect on all fronts. Great location for visiting the many tourist destinations nearby. While "The Cowshed" itself is quiet and restful. Everything was as you'd expect from a top rated booking. Would definitely book again. Hospitality par excellence. Thank you.

This is a great property - well appointed, spacious, quiet, cosy and a good location for activities in The New Forest, Salisbury and Wiltshire. It had everything that we could have asked for. Jo and Philip were friendly and welcoming hosts.

This really is an amazing place, Jo and Phill are such nice hosts. Within minutes of leaving, we were already planning our next stay there.

very quiet, very clean, very spacious except the bathroom, no cows!

low powered microwave insufficient crockery and cutlery to warrant using the washing machine. property was cool on arrival and took 24 hours to get comfortable

A little gem of a find. Lovely property perfect for chilling and unwinding. They really have thought of all the little touches with everything you need in the kitchen. Whether you want to cook yourself a hearty breakfast or make an evening meal all you need to do is bring your food of choice. Beautiful spa toiletries too. The Cowshed is perfect for a couples getaway, tastefully decorated, a very comfy bed, loads of games to play, streaming tv & Netflix all in lovely peaceful surroundings. Perfectly placed to go and explore local walks or the surrounding towns & cities. Friendly hosts are next door should you need them.
