As soon as we walked in we loved the lodge,everything was immaculate and very modern.welcome pack was lovely too.we would recommend this lodge it had everything you need for a perfect family holiday and we will definitely be back .

We stayed as two couples on a short break. We loved everything about Macaw Lodge. It was modern, luxurious, comfortable and finished to such a high standard, everything had been thought of. Two bedrooms, each with an ensuite, was ideal. The site was quiet and beds were very comfortable. We ate in Smithy Arms in nearby Swinton one night and got takeaway from Queens Head Cantonese restaurant in Amotherby another night, it was about a mile away, both were excellent in regard to food and costs.

There was nothing that we didn't like, but Lodge was further from Malton than we thought.

the property was beautiful and to a very high standard it was handy to explore the local areas

The beds but that might be more to personal taste they were really firm mattresses

Brilliant lodge, excellent facilities! Loved the hot tub and the extra touches of a welcome basket and bath robes were lovely!

Big, comfortable lodge that’s been kitted out very well by the owner with top quality furnishings throughout. Well worth the money, would definitely stay again.

Not much to fault other than the pillows was very soft and no alternative available.

Beautiful place very high end, owner thought of everything lovely touches to make our stay even better , every possible thing could want was there so well equipt , easy to book ,

Walk in shower didnt work properly, no pressure or hot water , but other shower did so didnt matter , plus it had a bath too, was a bit expensive for weekend but owner must have spent a fortune top quality on everything
