Econo Lodge

This hotel is dated but everything was really nice. The towels were fairly soft and shower head is new. The ice machine is centrally located and easy to get to. Food outlets are relatively close and a mall is across the street. The only negative is getting to the hotel - you have to go by it and execute a u-turn at the light.

Hard to get into the parking lot but owner was pleasant. Rooms are dated (old furniture and bathroom tile, etc) but clean. Breakfast was very basic, Frosted Flakes, Raisin Bran, toaster waffles, bagels, prepackaged muffins. Coffee was hot and decent and they had a juice machine. Decent stay for the price.

The hotel is very hard to get into. The room smelled of stail smoke, but was marked non-smoking. There was not much. Not planning on staying at this location again. Room key stopped working at one time.

We had a reservation for this hotel for the three of us. When booked, we requested a crib for the room. Once we arrived at the hotel, the manager tried to charge us an additional ten dollars for the crib, "so the baby can sleep better" We informed him the ten dollar charge did not show up on the website and he argued with us before removing the charge. There is a sign at the front desk that states that they must approve all visitors. Also, the breakfast in the morning is a joke. The room was dirty, the crib was filthy and did not have a sheet that actually fit the mattress, it was for an actual bed. We had another reservation for this hotel in June and will be changing it to somewhere that will actually appreciate their customers. We will not be back.

A good place to lay our heads while passing through. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The continental breakfast was minimal. My only complaint is that the A/C was not running in our room when we arrived, so the room was hot and humid. I would stay here again.

Booked in here for 1 night on a vacation trip. Reception was clean. Was a bid early, but was signed in. The overall look looked ok. Gardens neat. No laundry. No iron. House keeping is probably the downfall for a place that can look better. Carpets needs wash. Cobwebs in bathroom. Wifi good. Breakfast was ok and filling for the morning.

The price was very good, $10. More for our therpy dog. Staff is friendy, room was clean, had refrig, microwave, coffee pot, plus nice included breakfast. Walls were thick enough we did not hear our neighbors.

We didn’t actually stay here. When my husband went to the front desk and asked for a room for two people and two dogs the front desk clerk said “No. No dogs”. He was short and rude about it. When we asked about the hotel being “pet-friendly” he said pets are only allowed in certain rooms and none are available. That’s fine if that is hotel policy but, 1.) State that on your website. 2.) Employe people with better people skills. So, travelers with pets be advised. Don’t count on this place.

Very nice rooms and beds are very relaxing. It is very close to a gas station and eatting spots in the area. Not far from walmart. Very close to the hwy. Parking lot is will lighted up. Front desk staff is very nice and friendly. They also. Have all the tv stations here for the kids.

The man who checked us in was friendly. The room was clean but you could tell the property was old. Our tub's finish was coming off and the water for the tub just had a nice study drip. The bathroom sink faucet was loose. The shower head was not to high so if you were tall ( and I am 5'9 my husband is 6'0 ) it make it a little hard to wash your hair. The beds were hard and it was two double beds not queen beds like most places. Over all I would not choose this hotel again.
