Windy Villa

The host (Mr. Leslie) was a gem of a person. The place is worth it for the money, given the location and other options available in the vicinity. The rooms could have been bigger.

A wonderful place to stay with amazing hosts and a unbelievable view. The room is very comfortable, with all you need - moskitonet, very good waterpressure in the (hot water!) shower, there is a kitchen you can use, a terrace with amazing view, the place is on the hill - so extremly quite at night... We would definitly come again, if we'd come to Kandy.

My stay at Windy Villa was excellent. It suited me well as it is not far from the start of the Pekoe Trail and it has an excellent view of Hanthana Mountain to enjoy while relaxing. The family who run the guesthouse are very kind and made sure I was comfortable. I was looked after very well with tea offered when I arrived and the best dinner I have had in Sri Lanka of home-cooked rice and many different delicious curries. The room was spacious, clean and also had a good view. Overall, I am very happy.

A cosy and homely villa with clean and comfortable rooms, more than sufficient amenities, quiet location, fantastic views, and most of all, exceptional hospitality! The kindness of Mr. Pieris and his wonderful family made our stay a very happy one. Thank you so much for going above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect for us! It's like we've found a home away from home!
