Amara Villa

It’s a really lovely villa with a great pool.

It’s a little way out of town, but we knew that when booking.

The beds were SO comfortable, so many powerpoints to charge devices, clean bathrooms, amazing water pressure/drainage, great AC, smart TV with wifi, spacious rooms, clean kitchen, good fridge, water cooler, clean outdoor area and salty pool, we felt right at home once we checked in. There were bikes on site to hire, the caretaker organised a pick up to do our laundry and even invited us to watch a local soccer game! This was definitely our favourite villa this entire trip to Bali/Gili, out of 6 villas/hotels! This villa is cared for and very well maintained. Oh, and the loveliest friendliest little cat visitor!!! There are lots of cafe/restaurants nearby for breakfast so we never needed to cook! We're already booking our next trip to the Lombok/Gili islands for diving and this villa is where we'll stay!

No negatives, just some comments to consider: -Make sure to pack shampoo/body wash or you can buy it from local shops. We didn't ask them for it, as we had already packed our own for this trip. -We knowingly booked the villa away from the main parts of the island to get some quiet & rest at nights, so anticipate a 5-10min stroll to the main road, or a 2-5min bike ride. -There is no lockable safe at the villa, so either have your valuables with you at all times, or lock the door and ask the caretaker not to clean the room :) we didn't have any issues with this

Property is easily accessible and the staff (Ivan) was a wonderful guy ! Wonderful stay. 10/10 recommended.

Beautiful pool and lovely outdoor area

The wifi wasn’t working and when we tried to get the problem fixed there was just no resolution it has impacted on the rest of our trip as we couldn’t use wifi at the Villa to sort further accommodation. We asked multiple times for some compensation or for it to be fixed and we’re told to contact booking.com directly
