"Superb"

A basic homestay with a great staff. The owner Wan is a real character and can help out with excursions and travel arrangements.

The matrasses are rather hard, but you get used to it!

"Green hills was a good choice."

Double decker bed amazed my kids. Kitchen was comfortable.

3 rooms but only 1 has private bathroom.

"It's fine but not value for money"

The owner was nice and friendly. He also got us a good driver.

Even though the owner is nice and friendly he didn't seem to care too much about the cleanliness like leaving the dirty dishes in the kitchen. We saw many cockroaches in the kitchen and mold on the ceiling because of which my husband got respitory problems. Compared to others stays where have been to in Assam and Shillong, this stay was a bit too expensive and the homestay seems incomplete (under construction). The road where the homestay is very bad but that's not the owner's fault. The roads in cherrapunji are bad in general.
