Beautiful, clean and modern property. Perfect location for distance to the town centre, beach and train station. The house is tastefully decorated and we had everything we could possibly need. The beds were super comfy! The conservatory is a lovely little room to enjoy a cup of tea. Parking is a real bonus.

The master bedroom has no wardrobe but just a very minor issue and we managed to work around it

Within walking distance of North Berwick centre, even closer to rail links to Edinburgh. Warm, luxurious, spacious, light, original ceilings, proper basket fire, lots of quality furnishings. Cooking facilities, clean, tidy, extra kitchen and domestic essentials provided. Very good. .

Not much, 2 small things. Sofa was too low/soft for 93 year old mum but I knew that before I arrived. Also knew she’d be fine in conservatory. Just used table chair in lounge. Maybe more hanging space in double bedroom but again used single Bedroom wardrobe instead. So nothing really.

The property was a home from home for us and our dog, warm and well equipped. Enjoyed the sun room for reading and appreciated the parking space, though the 2nd space looked a bit tight. 3 mins walk via a short cut to the rail station, same to the beach and some great walking - sea frontage flat, some of town hilly and enjoyed climbing The Law. Ate well at The Herringbone, The Puffin and multiple times at The Rocketeer (delicious breakfast). North Berwick is a great all rounder of a small town with fantastic eateries and small businesses, very dog friendly - wish we lived there!

The double bed was too soft for our preference and as this is a flat you need to be aware of noise from above, but nothing that would put us off returning.

Location

The apartment was unloved with beds in two rooms unmade, cupboards and drawers stuffed with unusable items. Extra charge for open fire and no instructions for the heating. The main bedroom bedding was disgraceful with lumpy duvet covered with rough,unironed cover. No curtains in lounge only cheap, unworkable blinds. No wardrobe. We paid for 3 nights but vacated the property after one. Although it was Christmas there was no cheer.

With 3 dogs we could have done with an enclosed garden. With 3 old biddies the couch was too low to get out of.

Location of the house, contact with the host, and very nice feel to the property.
