The fact that I had to leave I did not like😭

The property was spotless with all the necessary essentials. The host is a very efficient communicator and made us feel welcome. The beachfront area is not within walking distance, but a 2-minute drive will get you there. We felt safe and overall had a very pleasant stay.

Quiet location near wineries, Muizenberg beach, Cape Point, good supermarkets. Secure dedicated parking space behind electric gate. Property was super clean. Air conditioning in bedroom was excellent. The mattress was the most comfortable in 4 weeks travelling in SA. Lots of bedroom storage: room for 2 large suitcases, big wardrobe with hanging space and shelves. Kitchen was well stocked: lots of cooking spices, oil, salt, pepper, cooking pans, crockery, wine glasses, etc. Hosts were absolutely lovely and kindly allowed us a late check out as we had an evening flight. Thank you.

Despite the cleanliness, cockroaches were spotted in the house on a few occasions. Hosts gave us bug spray, which worked, but the front door has a gap underneath, so they crawl in from outside. Kitchen/lounge was super hot. The sun streams in first thing in the AM and just bakes the space. It has no Air Con and was hot much of the time. Could use outside awning, shade sail or Air Con. We asked for a fan but it just blew the hot air around. Needs more electric plug points to charge phones/tablets. An electric kettle would have been nice.
