Connecticut Lake House

The location was ideal for where I was working over the weekend and the area was very quiet.

No, TV, no air conditioning, and the bed was not very comfortable at all.

No tvs, no working appliances. Owner was unprofessional & disrespectful

They had dishes in the strainer, personal stuff everywhere, the counters were disgusting and ants. The refrigerator was disgusting. It looked like at any minute someone was going to walk into the house. It was not inviting. They were 3 rooms in the whole house you could use, other than the kitchen. More than half of the lights didn't work. Also isn't the easiest to get into to. They also left the door unlocked and as a single mother driving alone for work, I didn't appreciate that. It's not a safe area and I travel to the area a lot for many years. The price for what is was ridiculous! The one bedroom was clean, otherwise it looked like some just left for the day and was going to return at any moment. I didn't feel comfortable even leaving. They also were trying to get me to pay cash to stay again or some other app and not go through booking. They left cheese cut up in the refrigerator and it was the nastiest fridge I had ever seen. The windows didn't work well and would fall and make noise. There was also pee around the toilet and some on the counters in the bathroom. They had all their own bath stuff everywhere.

The bed was comfy. The view of the lake from the dining table and front porch was nice.

The fridge was dirty. There was no wifi password available. There was a fire or carbon monoxide alarm battery beeping all night in a locked room. There was only one towel and rags for dish towels. There was a lot of personal stuff around. No bedside table or lamp for reading. Wouldn't go back.

The view and privacy

Only a small AC in the bedroom. All windows couldn’t be opened. Very hot and stuffy. Refrigerator was filthy. Only one towel. Smoke detector battery needed to be replaced, beeped the whole time we were there as it was in a locked room.

Everything! The place was disgusting dirty! No air conditioner or WiFi !!
