Enorme Santanna Island - Premium All Inclusive

This is our second time staying at this hotel within 7 months. We stayed in October 2025 and it was very quiet, therefore had a better experience at the hotel. This time, the hotel was fully booked. Firstly, the check-in experience is a bit of a nuisance, you have to scan a QR code and fill out the form on your phone - not ideal when we arrived to the hotel at midnight and I had to complete the form 3 times before it would let me submit. We were lucky enough to have our own “private” pool and bed, which aren’t actually private, you’re overlooked by whole main entrance and reception area of the hotel, as well as the rooms directly above you, there is zero privacy. People continuously point, stare and take pictures of you, to the point where it just becomes rather annoying. If you are staying in a room without your own pool/bed, you will definitely struggle to get a bed around the main pool, there are constant complaints online and we even heard people calling reception to complain they could not get a bed around the pool as people leave their towels/ belongings to “reserve” beds. We overheard reception staff saying they would not remove towels from beds to prevent people “reserving” which is just ridiculous considering the volume of complaints. We witnessed multiple people everyday, even a heavily pregnant couple, having to sit at the aperol bar to sunbathe, which is highly uncomfortable in the heat. Cleanliness of the rooms is another issue. We found that on some days our room was skipped and the cleaner would go to other rooms first and our room would be done later in the afternoon for some reason, although they would arrive at your block of rooms quite early in the morning around 8am, they would do some of the rooms next door to us and then miss our room and start on the rooms on the other side. When they would clean the room, it would just be a mop of the floor, clean towels and make the bed.

The location of the property is lovely, with a charming nearby town that, while not large, has plenty of character and is enjoyable to explore. The buffet offered a good variety of options that changed throughout our stay, keeping meals interesting. Most importantly, several members of the staff went above and beyond to make our visit pleasant and were genuinely friendly and helpful.

Although the hotel is only in its second year of operation, it still feels unfinished. During our stay, construction work on a new sushi restaurant was ongoing directly above the buffet restaurant, meaning that drilling and banging could be heard even during meal times. A public road runs through the middle of the hotel complex, resulting in a steady flow of traffic throughout the day. Some vehicles were particularly noisy, which detracted from the otherwise relaxing atmosphere. The hotel advertises that sunbeds around the pool cannot be reserved, but this policy is not enforced. Guests were claiming beds from as early as 7 a.m., often leaving them unattended for long periods. When this was raised with staff and management on several occasions, we were told they did not want to upset other guests and that we should simply arrive earlier, rather than enforce their own rules. The site manager in particular seemed dismissive of the issue. While the buffet offered a good variety of food, many dishes were only lukewarm, and the fish, seafood, and steak were frequently overcooked and dry. The hot water supply was also disappointing. During our 10-night stay, we only had properly warm showers on two occasions. This issue was reported to reception but was never resolved. Finally, poor weather during the first few days highlighted maintenance issues with the room. The windows were not properly sealed, causing them to whistle in the wind, and loose balcony roof panels banged loudly during storms. Despite reporting these problems to reception twice, no action was taken during our stay.

Très bon séjour, période estivale entamée mais pas saturée. Coup de cœur pour la suite avec piscine privée, attention cependant certaines ont l’air d’être vue route passante si vous prenez ce choix… les autres sont vue mer/réception mais rien de dérangeant en considérant le lieu 🤪 Soleil toute l’après midi sans problème. La restauration est variée et toujours possible, le personnel de service est globalement très chaleureux. La vue au coucher de soleil !!! +++++ Un ÉNORME merci merci à Ioanna au spa pour le soin hippocrates, si amateurs de détente allez y les yeux fermés avec elle ! Merci à Valeria pour la location de voiture et ses conseils de visite de l’île est une douceur !

Petite attention sur la propreté…. Joins de douche sales, wc et robineterie qui n’ont pas l’air d’être nettoyés très souvent avec calcaire et reflets…..

Ein sehr schönes Hotel. Sehr freundliches Personal. Man hat 3 a la Cart Restaurants die man besuchen kann und so etwas Abwechslung haben kann.

Eigentlich war alles gut, Kleinigkeiten was man verbessern könnte. echte Nutella am Frühstück und am Crepesstand. 3-lagiges Toilettenpapier. Die Lage sprich Sisi ist ein sehr kleies Dorf wenn man am Abend raus will.
