Lovely cosy little lodge, thoroughly enjoyed the weekend, some lovely walks. Surprise bottle of prosecco and bath robes left for us 🥳 we'll definitely be going again.

Nothing to dislike 🤣

"Stay was pleasant, but the lodge needs a bit of TLC and advertising updating"

6.0

Hot tub and site in general was nice and neat, lodge was good at keeping heat in but with it being a warm bank hol weekend, a fan was available when we arrived which was great. It does get quite warm on an evening within the lodge. Our hot tub was hidden away but our neighbours tubs were quite public (although you are the only 3 lodges in a row, so not like anyone is opposite you).

Well, the lodge was advertised with 'essentials' and a stove top, oven, fridge etc. We brought food to cook to discover a microwave and an air fryer, no stove top or oven. As for the fridge, it was a wine cooler so it was okay I suppose. Just not what we were expecting when looking at the information provided in the listing when packing. Kitchen essentials was a couple of knives and forks in a tray, no tea/coffee. I feel like it was a little misguided from the listing and due to there being nothing in the immediate vicinity, we had to travel by car to eat out all weekend and hope the food we had brought would stay fresh. The lodge itself could have done with a one off deep clean, with the lodge being surrounded by nature and the double patio doors, there was a lot of bugs etc on the ceiling/walls (dead and alive) which we spent trying to get rid of on the first evening and throughout. Especially in the kitchen area around the windows, it wasn't the best sight to see. Maybe a door net would be decent in the warmer months as it does get quite stuffy in the lodge but then have to fight with the bugs

"Made the most of the Lincolnshire Wolds despite the cold & wet conditions."

7.0

The POD was functional. The Hot Tubs use although good was limited by the chilly & wet weather. Sitting out on the decking was not practical but with better weather would double the living space. The chilled bottle of Pressco waiting in the wine fridge on arrival was a lovely gesture and certainly very much appreciated.

The double bed although adequate could have done with a better quality mattress. A dustbin & brush would have been useful.

"The most relaxing stay I’ve had in a long time!"

We loved how quiet the site was and the staff were friendly

It would be great if there was mini freezer (we had 28°C weather). Also a net for the hot tub is definitely needed.
