GBFirst hotel in town, located in a lovely colonial building. Nicely decorated with local motives it is full of character. I had a room with a balcony overlooking the sea - pure magic. Good value for money. Run by a local family that can take you hiking and offer surf lessons. So close to the sea that you sleep with the sound of waves crashing onto the shore
Suerte Loca is pretty basic - no luxury here - but with character, history, sea views and good value. It is an awesome place.

Sulfur smell from the drains. Swamp gas. When we got there, our reservations were not in their system even though we.paid. Booking issues with booking.com. They did accommodate us with a shared room instead of 2 singles, with the difference refunded.
GBGreat little original hotel with very friendly hosts and a lovely atmosphere. Excellent breakfast menu and a good location.
Facilities are a little run down but that shouldn’t put you off!
FRDinner excellent. Place has hardly changed since 1980, maybe not much since 1937 when it opened - in a Spanish enclave during the Civil War in Spain.
