"Quick-flip turned rental property"

6.0

The location was the prime reason for choosing this property, as we needed to be close to friends for graduation weekend. However, if you're there for tourist-type activities, the location is not ideal. It was also nice to have the coffee available in the morning.

The home smelled of smoke immediately when you walk in. Not sure if it was remementants from the previous guests, or if the house had been smoked in prior to what looks like recent (basic) renovations. There was a candle to burn, which helped to cover some of the smell. Overall, the house is lacking in basic hospitality comforts; no body wash/shampoo in the master bedroom shower, polyester sheets and blankets and cheap pillows, the towels we old and tiny, bed was horribly uncomfortable and was extremely loud (the smallest change in position caused a really loud squeak), the floor in the hall-bath was coming apart, and it was quite inconvenient not to have a bedside light at night. The house looks and feels like a quick-flip to turn into a rental property.
