DEPANDANCE CASA ANDREA

It is a very good value, and Andrea, the host, was available and help us for the car facilities. The view from the terrasse is nice and the localisation of the appartement in the city is perfect.

We had to go to an other place to get the keys. We had a car and it is very difficult to move from one place to the other ( we got a ticket). Our recommendation is to go to Taormina by train or bus, or if you have a car, leave it immediately at a parking ($$$$) when you arrive.

This tiny apartment has everything you need to enjoy your time in Taormina. It’s very clean, bathroom is completely new, bed is alright, kitchen is comfy enough to prepare at least coffee/snacks (and probably anything more, we just didn’t try). And the terrace is just stunning. Couple of minutes from the centre/funicular and central bus station. The host Andrea is very kind and helpful person. He will explain you everything, give recommendations, you will just have to pass by his BB for administrative purposes (which is according to my opinion better option than sending the pics of your IDs). We were truly sad when leaving this place and looking forward to come back.

Dont pay attention to the reviews that say it is too much uphill, corridor is dark and humid, it’s very exaggerated.

Spectacular view from the balcony. Spacious apartment with all the ammenities you could need. Air conditioning worked very well and was much appreciated. Andrea was very hospitable and provided some great recommendations.

There were many stairs to the apartment- we were able to manage however it is something to note.

The view is fantastic looking into the mountains and the sea. There are 2 comfortable chairs and a table on the patio. The bathroom is modern and the bed a comfortable double, although it is too close to the wall to get out easily.

This is an old hotel, behind a closed service station with a steep driveway to climb, constantly with bags of garbage n the driveway. The entry to the foyer is at the top of this steep ramp. We were followed up the ramp and felt unsafe as we opened the building. The foyer has a very damp smell and the corridors of the building are dark. The kitchen is very limited. All glasses and mugs mismatched and dishes and cutlery with food remnants needed washing before we could use them. The stove is connected to a gas bottle outside. There is no kettle, microwave or frypan.

We stayed in Taormina for 3 days. Andrea was a very kind host, he came to pick us up from the bus stop and then showed apartament which was close, around 3 minutes of walk. The apartment was equipped very well and all necessary things were available, small kitchen with fridge, air conditioning and comfortable bed. The bathroom was new and clean. But the best was big terrace with beatiful view for the sea and mountains. Truly the biggest advantage of the apartment. Andrea walked with us through the city and he showed us some places he recomend to visit and told us some interesting facts about the place. After completing the check-in at Andrea's place, he gave us present (a bootle of wine and cookies), he also offered that we can leave suitcases at his place before going for our flight. I would recommend stay at Andrea's place for everyone!

Everything was great! The host is a nice and very helpfull great person (he even gives welcome gifts). The apartament has a magical tarrace with the best possible View we can imagine, it has nice, clean and New bathroom, very comfortable bed and The kitchen has all the usefull equipment. The location of the apartment is wonderful- it is close to almost every worth seeing thing in Taormina. The AC and wi-fi is great. Next time I visit Taormina I will surely stay in the same place and I reccomend it for everyone who wants to have a very plesant stay!!

great host, everything was new and the view and location is perfect! woud come again!

This was a lovely studio flat with a gorgeous terrace and an amazing view. Location was also great, very near the shuttle going down to the Isola Bella beach and also a 10min walk from the main car park as cars can't get into the town. Easy free shuttle on the way up to the flat if wanting to avoid hilly walk. Also very bear the main old town centre with all its many restaurants, attractions, etc. There were some extras left over in the kitchen which really helped as we were only staying two nights.

North facing terrace which would be perfect in the summer and not bad even in October. We had the sun on the terrace in the morning, but sadly partly obstructed by the neighbour leaving their shades up all the time. The checking in process could have been easier if it could all have done in the flat itself, especially as we arrived later in the day and tired.
