"Bad"

The ever very worst hotel and host I've ever encountered. Very unbelievable host.very dirty accommodation. Don't try this host- hotel.super disappointing.

"Very bad..."

I got a message less then 24 hours before I arrived that there was a leakage. This was not a new leakage, this was happening a couple of weeks. Every time you had to go to the bathroom, enter the room you had to avoid the water dripping from the ceiling. The owner ignored my messages, it was an awful expierence.

Great location, good for our 2 night stay, or would be still good for longer. That’s if you accept that it’s a small apartment rather than calling it a home. It’s good value for the small amount paid, and kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms were all clean.

The fact that the owner had not sent us details on how to locate, or get inside the property, even those I had messaged to ask the day before, so we’d know beforehand as we were arriving for checkin around midnight. Having not heard we assumed there would be someone there to let us in! We were wrong and by 2.30am after a long flight we were still with not inside, and that was with locals help trying to locate the property. It’s difficult to find without details from the owner. We had to abort the idea of trying to get into the apartment, and had to find alternate accommodation, at 2.30am which was not fun after the long flight. It’s really difficult arriving in a foreign country without the details. Local people had tried to contact the owner on our behalf, and after 2.30am we received by WhatsApp photos of where to be to find the apartment. However by then we had paid for, and were in the alternate hotel. It was disappointing that the owner had overlooked this important information to assist guests from another country.

"Value for money, great location and accommodating owner."

Is ok. Won’t expect much the the price paid. At least it has a small kitchenette for you to boil water and fridge to keep you breakfast. If you are up for walking, it is walking distance to Myeongdong and Dondemun. The owner is very accommodating. We complain of the shower heater not hot past midnight, he came all the way to see to it. Our flight depart late, he allowed us to leave our baggages there until 3pm even though the check out time is 1pm because his next guest will check in later the night.

Probably to change the mattered and do a bit of maintenance example the doors and walls.

"Stay here only if you like mold"

The size was generous for two people as it had 2 separate bedrooms, although both had mold on the walls, so not too appealing to sleep in.

The building the flat is in is questionable, and the flat itself was by far one of the worst places I have even been in. There are mold all along the walls by the beds in both bedrooms and even the mirror was broken, the kitchen was not clean at all with food pieces in the microwave and refrigerator, and the bathroom had mold and rust all throughout. We informed the owner, and his attitude was anything but helpful, sarcastic, and he preferred to communicate on WhatsApp instead of on Booking.com's platform. He is dishonest and you should not take what he says as the truth. We tried to resolve it but unfortunately had to spend one night there as it was quite late and left promptly the next morning. We thought it would be reasonable to request 50% of our rate back, which I believed would have been more than fair. After agreeing on WA, he didn't follow through when we contacted Booking. Regardless, we didn't want to stay there another night. In life, we believe in Karma. All the best to him and the mold. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. I think the pictures can speak for itself.

"AVOID this property"

Property not as described, there’s no bath, tumble dryer , dish washer, smart phone, garden/terrace, it’s dirty, damp & wet with mould, the door frames are rotten and patched up with filler, it’s up hill when told it wasn’t, only one tv works, the other was signed into porn by the owner, the kitchen window is behind fitted cupboards which is a safety hazard, I liked NOTHING about this property.

A Pakistani lady came to our door looking for help as her husband had beaten her, she had broken glasses on and showed us bruises, she was scared and wanted us to take her to get her glasses fixed, she said her husband was the owner of our accommodation and he was going to kill her, as this was 10pm at night we worried it was a scam so I messaged the landlord and he confirmed it was his wife and she’s mental so he’s sending her back to Pakistan and we weren’t to open the door to anyone, we didn’t feel safe after this. I totally regret our stay there, we love Seoul and have stayed in different places before and they were great. I have never had to complain about a property before and I’m not happy about complaining now but I have contacted booking.com with photographic evidence and they aren’t willing to help us. The photos are after I had spent over 2 hours cleaning the property.
