Nature Villa Unawatuna

Amazing place in a peaceful, sedate garden that felt like living in an arboretum. With monkeys, peacocks, squirrels and fireflies. Great room, comfy bed with airy mosquito net. Nice patio, beautiful and fresh pool. Hidden and quiet, still everything is close by. Polite and considerate hosts.

The pool is the highlight of this hotel. It is not very big, but it is very comfortable and quite enough to swim before going to bed. In the dark, it can also be used.

Although in a busy tourist resort, the property was like an oasis. Very quiet and peaceful. Monkeys, birds and squirrels were frequent visitors and my wife and I enjoyed just sitting on the terrace watching the wildlife. Staff were very attentive and friendly. The owner even gave us a little gift when we left.

front door to our room very easy and break into. could pull it and it would open. entrance to property down a long dingy alley with a lot of mosquitoes - normally wouldn’t mind but this is pretty grim and you have to walk it several times a day

Perfect location, 2 minutes from the beach. Very calm place, no noise from the street and bars. Breakfast was delicious, the staff is very-very-very friendly and ready to help with any question. We spent 2 weeks at this wonderful place, and the host gave us a souvenir
