Mountain house Lailias

Very nice place to stay. The host responds quickly and helps with every situation.

The property consists of a big room with a double bed and a kitchen in one large space plus a bathroom - everything is very tastefully arranged, extremely well equipped, and perfectly clean. The host provided adequate instructions for finding the property and the key - but there was an unexpected problem: a blackout, due to a strong rain. When I arrived, it was pitch dark: the street, the house, everything. I struggled searching for the house and the room and the keys, etc. - using the light from my telephone. Finally I somehow managed to enter. Electricity returned in ~3 hours, after that it was OK. Otherwise the accommodation itself, the neighborhood in the mountain and the nature around are lovely.

Nothing apart from the darkness at first - not the owners' fault. But maybe they should be aware of the danger of blackouts - more likely in remote mountainous villages, and be ready with a special solution.

Nicely decorated and clean room in a quiet neighborhood some 600m up the mountain. We wanted to see different side of Greece after the seaside and islands, and this was exactly that. Drove a few km futher up the mountain for even more impressive landscape and views.

Checked two tavernas futher up the mountain, but both were closed.
