Even though we never met the host (contact through WhatsApp), everything went very smooth. The apartment was very clean, located close to the railway station, at the edge of the city center, but within walking distance of the nice places Bologna has to offer.
We arrived after 8pm, which meant that the streetside gate was closed. We got instructions to call the building administrator, but he did not speak English. That made it a bit tricky for us to get in, but in the end, it worked. Other than this, all was perfect.
