The location was great for travel to DC and walking to interesting places in the area.

At arrival, the receptionist was very cold, unfriendly and not very cooperative. We felt like we were inconveniencing her. The lighting in the bedrooms were terrible for reading in bed. The guest bath had several minor deferred maintenance issues. Having the soap, shampoo, etc. bottles on the floor of the showers, instead of mounted on the wall (as is standard with most hotels) was very inconvenient.

Gym was under renovation and so was main entrance. One out of two elevators was working, the other was under maintenance. Parking is crazy expensive.

The complex is located in a safe and quiet location, conveniently next to a grocery store. It's about a 5 minute drive or 20 minute walk to the metro station. The pool was great, and the communication was also very helpful in knowing how to check in. We found the space to be a great value, and we would recommend this place to others staying in the area.

We stayed in a 2 BR apt. and found it clean but with some wear and tear (vanity handle was broken, window screen was out.) Also, as referenced in other recent reviews, only 1 elevator is working on either side, which can cause some delays, but we never had to wait longer than 5 minutes for an elevator. Nothing major - just some things to note. Overall, even with the minor issues, I would give this stay 9/10.

The staff was friendly and prompt in addressing issues.

The property was undergoing construction and 75% of the elevators were not working. There were some additional issues with the apartment despite it being at a great location and generally a nice place to stay. E.g., it was too dark (two light bulbs were out in the kitchen/living room area), the refrigerator lights were flickering on and off, the dishwasher leaked/sink leaked (although staff was quick to address the problems)

they could have provided better stock of the promised toiletries. bottles of soap were barely filled. we had to buy toiletries for our short stay even though descriptions said we would have them available during the stay
