Great friendly host, offered to get milk and essentials in due to the late arrival time. Above and beyond.

Really comfortable flat with plenty of space. We felt right at home. A short drive into the centre of Larne and to supermarkets. We used it as a base for a few days and Steve gave us good tips on getting a cheap train ticket to Belfast for a day trip.

Could hear the downstairs neighbours sometimes but they weren’t noisy so it wasn’t an issue.

Steve accommodated us at short notice due to our ferry home being cancelled due to the weather. The apartment was lovely, very clean and comfortable.

Nothing to complain about

Cupboards were full of goods and basic products, kitchen decently equipped.

With a heavy heart, I am leaving a negative review for this property. One possible factor may be that I stayed outside the main season, but the issues I experienced were significant. The apartment was extremely cold on arrival, with the heating set to “holiday” mode. The indoor temperature was 9°C and only reached 12°C after two hours, despite turning the heating on myself. When an apartment has not been preheated, it takes a very long time to become comfortable. Unfortunately, the heating was not turned on prior to my arrival. While the apartment appeared clean at first, I noticed several cleanliness issues during my stay, including spiders and cobwebs in the bathroom, heavy dust on the side table, a large cobweb under the armchair, and an old-looking carpet that did not appear to have been properly cleaned. The noise insulation is very poor—footsteps and conversations from neighboring units were clearly audible. The neighbors also seemed unusually curious about who was staying in the apartment. The couch in the living room was uncomfortable, with a piece of unsupported wood protruding underneath the upholstery in the center section. Additionally, the apartment shows signs of neglect, including poor paintwork, broken towel and toilet paper holders, and a slightly dirty underside of the toilet seat. Although the apartment is advertised for four guests, the layout is impractical for four adults. At the dining table, only three chairs are usable, as one is blocked by the heavy table. This is the first negative review I have ever written. Due to the cold and overall discomfort, I had to leave the apartment the same night, as it was impossible to work or sleep.

Fantastic property and host. Location was great and nothing too much hassle. Property was to an exceptional standard would highly recommend.

No breakfast was had by me but full access to the whole place and an open invitation to help myself to what ever was in the cupboards. Great coffee so thank you for that. The shower is AMAZING !
