its maybe 300 yards from the seafront but its a swine of a hill to it. not good if youve got a bad knee like me no room cleaning. thats ok. but it would have beeb nice to have had the bin emptied sometime the 4 days we stayed

Rester dans une petite maison typique de l’île. C’était assez calme. Avoir ses propres salles de bain, c’était super utile, tout comme un bouilloire et du thé !! Sensation d’être hors du temps, dans le passé. Peut être sympathique pour des vacances de déconnexion du monde. Un peu loin du port (arrivée par bateau) mais vraiment au milieu de la promenade centrale de Douglas. On peut y accéder à toute heure.

Point principal : petit déjeuner qui se termine à 8h30 du matin !!! Noooon, c’est trop tôt !!! Et surtout ce n’est pas réellement vrai car les tables restes dans le salon à l’entrée, et je ne vois pas en quoi d’utiliser la machine à café ou manger les yaourts Après 8h30 pourrait empêcher les hôtes à vivre. Bref, c’est vraiment un mystère et c’est super dommage !!! La chambre était un peu trop vétuste (papiers peints qui se décollent, boiseries anciennes..). On peut investir un peu dans la rénovation sans que ce soit super cher, emporter même quelques touches peut montrer un effort pour le confort des voyageurs. Pas besoin de tout renouveler, le style ancien est très sympathique en soit !!

Where can I start we walked in to the smell of damp the room was disgusting the bathroom and shower had black mould everywhere the bedroom had bare floor boards with just a dirty rug down . The bed mattress had stains on them we didn't sleep at all the television only had three channels and the WiFi didn't work .the wallpaper was peeling off the walls due to the damp .The whole room was old and dated furniture that was dusty and dirty . I tried to speak to someone but all was there was two student type people who basically wasn't bothered by how upset I was . We left early the next morning and had to find somewhere else to stay at extra expense

Very cosy and comfortable, in a good location. Fairly basic (in a good way!), excellent value, more than a fair offering for the cost. First visit to the Isle of Man and would gladly stay here again when I inevitably return.
