Central Premium Apartment at Madách Square

- 100e bus from airport takes you to a bus-stop 3 min walk away from the apartment for less than £5 - wine opener in kitchen - beautiful, modern apartment with ambient lighting (same as pictures) - balcony which we didnt use but still nice - hungarikum bisztro, indigo express, moto pizza madach, smash lab burgers and langos papi nearby (very good food spots) the traditional hungarian langos with sourcream, garlic and cheese is to die for, better than a pizza after a night out - perfect for a couple - kitchenette handy for making food and storing food - very good tram and bus link to all the tourist sites - please book the unlimited Prosecco cruise on the danube river, it was our highlight evening!! so so fun - close walk to grocery shops e.g. lidl - very good value for money

- a bit noisy from the dowstairs bar as its usually busy with young people but not too bad - one of the shutters on the living room window didn't close as it was broken or at least we didn't want to break it futher (so we have to make a makeshift fort to cover our window for a little bit of extra privacy and darkness) - door lock is a bit fidgety, took us a while to figure out how to open the door with the key - the building is a standard eastern european building so don't be alarmed the apartment is beautiful inside - although the lift was handy, we used the stairs instead as it was quite small and shaky (i was a little scared to use it :) ) IN GENERAL: - don't eat on the public transport, we got fined £25pp :) - also make sure to buy transport tickets in advance (budapestGO) and activate them as inspectors are regular - sidenote: vapes are illegal so you won't be able to purchase any - sidenote: if you want to go to the For Sale Pub, you will be waiting in the queue for a while (30min +)

Location was good and bad. Good because we could walk to all attractions and had bus near to our apartment; Apartment is cozy and modern. We had a very nice vacation.

Location was bad because we had bars and restaurants near us and music was too loud on Thursday and Friday. Surprisingly was chill on weekend. With good ear plugs you can have a good sleep.

Treasure! Such a clean,well equipped apartment in the best possible location as I could walk everywhere so easily. Owner was quick to help me with arriving and during my stay. This property has good heating and a brilliant powerful shower; the things you really need in Winter! The building lift is very antiquated but works once you realise how to do it. Situated above a bar and pizza restaurant. In summer these will be noisier but no more than you'd expect of a city centre place. No road noise as the apartment is situated just off the main road yet still accessible by cars to drop you off and collect you at a car park entrance opposite. Grocery shop, langos place, chimney cake stall and many places to grab coffee or food within 1 minute walk. Tram and buses 2 minutes. I would not describe it as luxury, I would describe it as home from home. Excellent quality furnishings and facilities like I have in my house. I will certainly book again next time I'm in Budapest.

It was nice and comfortable. The location was great! Walking distance to the most popular tourist attractions.

I thought of using the washing machine to wash the towels, but when I opened the detergent dispenser it was full of black mold… The thought of towels having been washed there was scary…
