"Room for improvement"

Host are super friendly and absolutely lovely! They brought me delicious fresh fruit or a dessert every evening and even offered me breakfast or other meals free of charge. You have your own little shelter (well you're sharing it with lots of ants) with a private bathroom. It's pretty basic but got everything you need. Fair price.
The mattress is pretty worn out and not comfortable. The aircon works but is a little noisy.

"Perfect place to get to know Sri Lankan culture"

I really loved my stay at Aruba Villa and extended my first days to 2 weeks. The hosts are a wonderful welcoming family offering me breakfast, lunch and dinner and I think I had the best Rice and curry here in the whole 2 months in Sri Lanka. So if you want to have a cultural experience and exchange apart from touristic hotels then it’s the best place for you to stay :)
