ShopLot Hostel Pangkor

Perfect location and excellent hospitality. All you need for a easy stay on the Island. Excellent recommendations of where to eat, easy to arrange scooter hire and loved the water and coffee facilities.

Only thing that could have been improved was the pillows didn't originally have pillow slips and the sheet kept coming off the bed (too small?). Not a biggie but these little details make it much more comfortable!

Super easygoing hostel. Quiet, safe with very nice people. Matches really well the vibe of the island. Met some great fellow travellers and the owner was super helpful and friendly throughout my stay. Ended up staying for almost 20 days. Loved it. Totally recommend.

They were frequently cleaning the hostel, but if they clean it a bit deeper every now and then, specially the toilet, would make everything perfect.

Friendly host, convinient location

It is really worth the price, but for vacation with family, I do hope for a lot more privacy. But for a limited space, it really is comfortable.

I do hope for the hostel to provide parking site as sometimes when the restaurant in front of the hostel start operating, the space for parking will be really hard to find. I also hope that the tv within the room will be repair for a better service in the future.

Room and location is okay. Our rate was quite high, probably due to Chinese New Year. If the rate was lower it would be more appropriate for the place. Drinking water provided which is nice

Accomodation is very basic and a bit worn off. Cracks in the wall, light makes weird noises. We stayed 2 people in a 3 bed room. Room is pretty small so I wouldn't recommend it for 3 people. Dorms seemed to be quite okay from what we saw. Unfortunately you could hear every sound from the common area which is a metal table/chairs in front of the room, even if people speak reasonably loud.
