Lovely quaint cottage

A lovely house in a lovely village. The house is unusual (being either a chapel or school conversion), it is beautifully decorated and comfortable. It has everything you might need for your stay.

Living space was lovely. The hosts left enough basics, toilet rolls, dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid etc. Great spot for walking

I found it surprising and felt anxious about the hosts willingness to only share entry instructions 6 hours before arrival. I had a lengthy email with the host and they then sent the instructions 24 hours before arrival. The venue is an upside down arrangement. The bedrooms downstairs felt damp and were noisy by either internal water issues or lack of ventilation. The venue has no garden, just a very very small patio, 2m square. The neighbours were noisy (another holiday house) in same chapel, they stood at the front door (no garden) which was near to our bedrooms. There needs to be double the amount of plates and cutlery.

The location was good for access to countryside and houses we wanted to visit., It was quiet and spacious living area with a well equipped kitchen.

The mattresses were uncomfortable. not enough storage for clothes. We couldn't get the TV to work and couldn't find any user guides for TV or kitchen appliances.

Lovely house, well looked after and well equipped. Beds are ok. Very clean. Excellent location.

There was a funny smell on the ground floor from the en suite bathroom. Also something aggravated our daughters' coughs. But it was fine

Great property, great location and nice village with two pubs.

Too few glasses, bows, cutlery, decent size pans for 6 people. The bedding was tired.
