Surya Villa

Surya is one of the kindest and most helpful hosts we've ever met — always available, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. He made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The villa was spotless, beautifully designed, and surrounded by nature, offering the perfect blend of comfort and serenity. The bed was super comfortable, the pool was clean and peaceful, and the morning light in the living room was magical. It has the same views as the 5 star hotel nearby. It has a common living room, perfect to have a free coffee or tea, with Fridge and everything. Surya also gave us amazing tips about local restaurants, activities, and helped us with transportation when needed. Everything was effortless. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, authentic and warm experience in Ubud. Thank you, Surya — you made our time in Bali even more special. 🙏✨

The view on the rice fields is incredible! The bed was very comfortable and the room quite spacious. There is a separate shared living room, where you can get drinking water and you can use the common fridge.

The way to the Villa is very narrow, so only scooters or pedestrians can go through. When you arrive with your luggage by car, like we did, get ready to carry your luggage for a couple of minutes.

The best thing about this place is the view, nature, and that it’s quiet and serene

You have to walk a 5 minutes street filled with trash to get to the place, at night it’s scary and uncomfortable specially for a solo woman like me, I stayed for a week, most of it I was completely alone in the whole villa, and that was scary specially at night and specially that the villa has no door It’s just open for anyone to get inside Which what happened, one day I woke up and I saw strangers walking around and taking pictures by the pool Be prepared to meet alot of creatures because it’s open to nature The bathroom had a bad smell the whole time I was there because they don’t clean very well The host was really disappointing with his attitude Which is a shock because usually Balinese people are very kind and helpful But when I asked for a late check out the day before He said will see And then on the check out day he informed me that I can’t have a late check out and I have to leave within one hour, and he was so rude about it and gave me unnecessary stress Even tho the property is empty and I paid a high price for a 7 nights stay I would never go back there or recommend any of my friends

The room it’s very spacious, modern but still in Balinese vibe. I was worried about the insects but it was not bad at all, it’s very clean. It has an amazing view and it’s very good communication with the owner. Location was perfect for us as we’ve had a motorbike so it was 10min to the center of Ubud so it was quiet at night. You can rent a motorbike from the owner which is good thing!

The only thing I would say is the water in the shower not coming off quick enough but I’m taking the shower with my flip flops on so it doesn't bothers me.

The property exceeded my expectations. It was fantastic. Such a beautiful location and so incredibly peaceful I actually extended my stay. The staff were lovely and the bed was comfy, couldn’t ask for more really.

Very new nice villa. Great location. You can walk into town easy or just stay in the local area with everything you need. The onsite staff is very helpful with anything you need. The pool is very well kept. Ac blows very cold. There are three units and one shared kitchen on site. They provide clean drinking water as well.

Could use a step between the front 2 units and the pool deck.

Quietness. Owner is helpful

No coffee machine. No drip coffee.
